Role Overview: English Language Arts Teacher
The ideal candidate will deliver engaging English Language Arts lessons that develop students’ literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills. You will teach across middle and high school levels, incorporating literature, writing, grammar, and public speaking components. You’ll also contribute to school-wide literacy initiatives and interdisciplinary learning projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or recognized certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS)
- At least two years of teaching experience in a comparable role
- Familiarity with the Cambridge and/or IB curriculum is a strong advantage
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Ability to integrate educational technology into classroom instruction
- Self-motivated, innovative, and collaborative with a passion for student-centered learning
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to working in a multicultural school community
