Role Overview: English Teacher (Cambridge IGCSE)

We are looking for a dedicated English teacher who can:

• Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary-level students
• Prepare students for Cambridge IGCSE assessments in English Language and/or Literature
• Foster a classroom environment that supports language acquisition, creativity, and confidence
• Contribute to co-curricular and enrichment activities related to literacy and communication
• Support student growth through meaningful feedback and differentiated instruction
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning experiences

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum of two years’ teaching experience in an international or IGCSE school setting
• In-depth understanding of the Cambridge IGCSE English curriculum
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills
• Passion for student-centered learning and professional development
• Ability to integrate educational technology effectively into lessons
