Role: English Teacher (Grade 6-12)
As an English Teacher at IPS-J, you will:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans based on California and Common Core Standards
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills in students
- Use innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes
- Support students in developing strong writing, reading, and analytical skills
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Assess and track student progress while providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student growth
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English (required); Master’s degree preferred
- Specialization in the subject matter (preferred)
- Valid Teaching License (MOE License required)
- Minimum IELTS score of 7.5 (required)
- Proven ability to inspire curiosity and promote critical thinking in students
- Experience in teaching the American curriculum (preferred)
