Role Overview: English Teacher (IGCSE)

The IGCSE English Teacher will lead English Language and English Literature classes, preparing students for Cambridge IGCSE examinations. The ideal candidate will inspire confidence, foster creativity, and guide learners in building strong reading, writing, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach IGCSE English Language and Literature in accordance with the Cambridge International curriculum
• Develop lesson plans that promote critical thinking, language fluency, and literature appreciation
• Use a range of teaching methods to engage students with different learning styles
• Assess and track student progress through assignments, assessments, and feedback
• Collaborate with faculty to maintain curriculum consistency and share best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
