Role Summary: English Teacher
As an English Teacher at JCS, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the British curriculum. You will support the development of reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills across a range of student abilities. Your role will involve fostering a positive learning atmosphere, assessing student progress, and maintaining close communication with parents and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or recognized certification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English at the primary or secondary level
- Strong understanding of English language instruction and curriculum design
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- High level of English fluency in both spoken and written forms
- Proficient in using educational technology to enhance learning
- Enthusiastic about working in a diverse, international school setting
