Role: English Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in English Language, Literature, and Drama
• Develop students’ speaking, writing, reading, and analytical skills
• Incorporate drama-based learning to build confidence and creativity
• Guide students in acting, scriptwriting, stage direction, and public speaking
• Assess progress through essays, projects, performances, and presentations
• Lead literary events, drama productions, and school performances
• Foster active class participation through debates and group discussions
• Support after-school clubs and drama-related activities
• Maintain open communication with parents about student development
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design and enrichment programs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Performing Arts, or Education
• A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in English and/or Drama
• Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum is preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and stage direction skills
• A genuine passion for literature, performance, and student growth
