Job Role: English Teacher (IGCSE Curriculum)

We are seeking an enthusiastic English teacher who can deliver engaging and effective instruction in line with the Cambridge IGCSE English curriculum. The ideal candidate will create a learning environment where students develop fluency, comprehension, and an appreciation for literature.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver well-planned English lessons that meet IGCSE standards
• Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and literature skills
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback
• Create differentiated learning activities to support all learners
• Encourage classroom discussions and student participation
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives
• Promote literacy across the curriculum through various strategies
• Integrate educational technology into lessons to enhance learning

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Experience teaching English in an IGCSE setting
• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Ability to inspire and motivate students in a multicultural environment
• Proactive, independent, and passionate about education
