Role Overview: English Teacher (Prep School)
The English Teacher will deliver engaging, student-centered lessons across primary year levels. You will promote literacy, develop reading and writing skills, and nurture a love for learning through creative and differentiated instruction. The role includes lesson planning, assessment, pastoral responsibilities, and involvement in school-wide activities that enrich the student experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the British curriculum
- Use varied teaching strategies to support students of different abilities and learning styles

- Track and report on student progress using formative and summative assessments

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least two years of classroom teaching experience

- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and committed to professional growth
