Position Overview:
Al Injaz Private School seeks a highly qualified and experienced Senior School English Teacher to educate and inspire students from Grades 6–12. The ideal candidate will have a robust academic background in English, substantial experience with the Cambridge curriculum, and a passion for fostering critical thinking and language skills. This role involves guiding students toward academic excellence, enhancing their communication abilities, and preparing them for future success in higher education and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Learning:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that align with the Cambridge curriculum for Grades 6–12.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods to promote language proficiency and literary appreciation.
• Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and critical thinking.

Assessment and Evaluation:

• Develop and administer assessments to evaluate students’ progress and proficiency.
• Provide constructive feedback to support students’ academic and personal growth.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student performance.

Curriculum Implementation:

• Design lesson plans and activities based on the Cambridge curriculum framework.
• Integrate technology and modern resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in English education and Cambridge standards.

Student Development:

• Mentor and motivate students to achieve their full potential academically and personally.
• Encourage creativity and analytical skills through diverse learning activities.
• Support students in preparing for Cambridge examinations and other academic milestones.

Collaboration and Engagement:

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve teaching practices and the overall academic program.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

Educational Background:

• Master’s degree in English and Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) are mandatory.

Professional Experience:

• 5–8 years of teaching experience with the Cambridge curriculum at the senior school level.
