English Teacher, TH School, Vietnam

This school is based in Hanoi, Vietnam and is looking for an English Teacher (CAMBRIDGE A-LEVEL AND IGCSE)

Teachers are responsible and accountable for the academic progress of the students they teach, collaboration with colleagues and participation in the development of the subject department. Subject teachers should be purposeful in promoting a positive, professional working atmosphere that encourages cooperation, challenge and higher levels of teaching and learning. Requirements

• Enthusiastic, committed and ambitious
• Teaching qualification accepted for mainstream public schools
• At least Bachelor Degree in relevant subject
• Postgraduate teaching Diploma (UK PGCE or equivalent with QTS)
• At least three (3) years IGCSE and A-Level or IB or AP teaching experience
• Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities
• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
• A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life
• Acceptable police checks (or equivalent) from the country of origin and from all other countries in which the applicant has worked and no question regarding suitability to work with children
• Appropriate references from current and previous employer, corroborated by personal phone calls made to each referee
