Role Overview: EYFS Teacher
As an EYFS Teacher, you will provide early years learners with a strong educational foundation through structured play, inquiry-based activities, and personalized learning experiences. You will foster curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young children as they develop key literacy, numeracy, communication, and motor skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that promotes exploration and positive behavior
- Observe and assess student development, providing regular feedback to parents and school leadership
- Maintain open and consistent communication with families and colleagues
- Collaborate with early years staff on planning, events, and professional development
- Contribute to school life through assemblies, events, and early childhood activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of two years teaching experience in early years or a similar setting
- Familiarity with international curricula such as EYFS, Cambridge, or IB PYP (Early Years)
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Technologically proficient and comfortable using digital tools in the classroom
- Collaborative, reflective, and committed to continuous growth as an educator
