Role Overview: EYFS Teacher
As an EYFS Teacher, you will guide students through the early stages of learning using a play-based and inquiry-driven approach. You will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports curiosity, confidence, and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality early years instruction aligned with EYFS and the UK National Curriculum
- Create lesson plans that integrate storytelling, music, art, movement, and foundational literacy/numeracy
- Monitor student progress through observation and formative assessment
- Foster a warm, respectful, and stimulating classroom culture
- Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with colleagues
- Use technology to enhance learning experiences and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Valid teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or international equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an EYFS or early childhood classroom
- Familiarity with the UK Early Years Foundation Stage framework
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- High fluency in spoken and written English
- Independent, reflective, and committed to professional development
