Role: Primary School – Female Deputy Head (Academic Lead)

As the Deputy Head – Academic Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and driving academic excellence within the primary school. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading the academic strategy and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning.
• Developing and implementing curriculum improvements to enhance student engagement and achievement.
• Supporting teachers through mentorship, training, and professional development.
• Monitoring and evaluating student progress, assessment practices, and learning outcomes.
• Collaborating with the school leadership team to ensure a supportive and progressive academic environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent, preferably British-qualified).
• Proven leadership experience in an academic or senior teaching role.
• A passion for innovative teaching, curriculum development, and academic leadership.
• Strong ability to mentor and inspire teachers while promoting continuous professional development.
• A deep understanding of assessment strategies, curriculum frameworks, and best teaching practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a commitment to fostering a positive school culture.
