Role: Female Head of EYFS

As the Head of EYFS, you will play a key role in shaping early childhood education at Durham School for Girls Doha. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading the EYFS team to deliver high-quality early years education.
• Implementing and enhancing the EYFS curriculum to ensure engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Supporting teachers in curriculum planning, assessment, and classroom management.
• Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment that supports students’ academic and social development.
• Monitoring and evaluating student progress, teaching effectiveness, and learning outcomes.
• Building strong relationships with parents, students, and staff to foster a sense of community and collaboration.
• Promoting early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills through innovative teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent, preferably British-qualified).
• Proven experience in EYFS leadership with a strong understanding of early years best practices.
• A passion for child-centered, play-based learning and holistic child development.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire teachers and engage with parents.
• Commitment to professional development and staying up-to-date with EYFS educational trends.
