Role: Female Secondary PE Teacher
We are seeking a motivated and experienced PE Teacher who is passionate about fitness, sportsmanship, and student well-being. The ideal candidate will encourage students to develop healthy lifestyles, teamwork skills, and a love for physical activity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and structured PE lessons in line with the British curriculum.
- Teach a range of sports, fitness activities, and health education topics.
- Develop students’ athletic skills, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
- Promote sportsmanship, resilience, and a positive mindset in all students.
- Organize extracurricular sports activities, tournaments, and inter-school competitions.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback to support growth.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Stay up to date with trends in physical education, sports science, and fitness training.
- Contribute to the school’s sports teams, clubs, and wellness programs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) or a degree with PGCE (or equivalent).
- Strong subject knowledge in physical education and sports coaching.
- A proven track record of fostering a supportive and motivating environment.
- A passion for student well-being, social development, and academic progress.
- Experience contributing to extracurricular activities and school-wide events.
- Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.
