Role: Female Teacher of Physical Education
This role involves teaching PE across all key stages, with a strong emphasis on extracurricular sports. PE teachers receive timetable adjustments to accommodate their co-curricular commitments. Experience with GCSE/iGCSE PE is preferred, and coaching or leading a priority sport—such as rugby, football, triathlon, basketball, or netball—will be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging PE lessons aligned with the British Curriculum
- Foster physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship in students
- Coach and lead co-curricular sports teams and activities
- Organize and participate in sports events, competitions, and tournaments
- Work collaboratively with the PE department and school leadership to enhance the sports program
- Utilize modern teaching strategies and technology to improve student performance
- Promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
Qualifications & Experience:
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Valid teaching license
- Experience teaching PE at multiple key stages
- Proven track record of success in sports coaching and student engagement
- Ability to lead or coach a priority sport (rugby, football, triathlon, basketball, or netball)
- GCSE/iGCSE PE teaching experience (preferred)
- Passion for developing students’ athletic skills and well-being
