Role: Geography Teacher
As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons based on the Cambridge Lower Secondary Checkpoint and IGCSE Geography curriculum. You will inspire curiosity about the world and encourage students to explore global challenges, environmental systems, and human geography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach geography across pre-school, primary, and secondary levels
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with Cambridge curriculum standards
- Prepare students for success in Checkpoint and IGCSE geography exams
- Use effective classroom management strategies to foster a productive learning environment
- Evaluate student progress and provide consistent feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues and support school-wide programs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related subject
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of proven teaching experience in an international or IGCSE school
- In-depth understanding of Cambridge exam formats and curriculum requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Enthusiastic about working with diverse student populations
