About Mutiara International Grammar School
Located in Kuala Lumpur, Mutiara International Grammar School delivers the British curriculum to students from Reception through IGCSE. MIGS fosters a warm, inclusive learning environment, where students receive a quality education in a supportive and diverse setting. Our school serves a community of over 300 students representing 25 nationalities. Position: Global Perspectives Teacher
The successful candidate will lead engaging and thought-provoking lessons in the Cambridge IGCSE Global Perspectives curriculum. You will encourage students to explore real-world issues, conduct independent research, and collaborate on interdisciplinary projects. A deep understanding of current global issues and a passion for inquiry-based learning are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Global Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 4 years of teaching experience in a similar position
- Familiarity with the Cambridge Curriculum or UK National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working in an international school environment
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English
- Commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning
