Job Role: Grade 2 Teacher
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the IB PYP framework and Common Core Standards.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth.
- Utilize inquiry-based teaching methods to encourage student curiosity and critical thinking.
- Assess and track student progress through formative and summative assessments.
- Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and teaching strategies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to support student success.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Proven experience teaching Grade 2 or elementary-level students.
- Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and child development.
- Passion for creating a student-centered, engaging learning environment.
