Role: Head of Computing

As the Head of Computing, you will:

• Develop and implement a progressive computing curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum for England.
• Deliver engaging computing and ICT lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
• Lead digital learning initiatives, ensuring technology enhances teaching and student engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers to integrate computing skills into various subjects.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to colleagues, promoting best practices in digital education.
• Manage computing resources, ensuring they meet curriculum needs and support innovation.
• Assess students’ progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning goals.

Qualifications & Requirements

Ideal candidates should possess:

• A Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) and PGCE (or international equivalent).
• Relevant Computer Science or ICT qualifications.
• At least three years’ teaching experience, ideally in a leadership or coordinator role.
• Proven experience teaching computing across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
• A strong background in the UK curriculum or a reputable British international school.
• Demonstrated success in enhancing digital learning within a school environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
