Head of Information Technology, Jakarta Intercultural School, Indonesia Teacher

This school is based in Jakarta, Indonesia and is looking for a Head of Information Technology

PURPOSE
The Head of Information Technology (IT) at Jakarta Intercultural School (JIS) is responsible for the leadership, strategic planning, and management of the school’s IT infrastructure, assets, systems, and services. This position oversees the IT department, ensuring that JIS maintains a secure, ecient, and innovative technology environment to support both educational and administrative functions. Collaborating closely with the Technology Integration Coach and educational leadership, the Head of IT ensures that technology is fully aligned with the school’s strategic vision, educational goals, and operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES and ATTRIBUTES:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related eld. Master’s degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, preferably in a K-12 educational setting.
3. Strong knowledge of network administration, server management, data protection, and cybersecurity.
4. Proven experience managing IT projects, budgets, and vendor relationships.
5. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems, such as Google Workspace for Education, Student Information Systems (SIS), and other educational software.
6. Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and developing IT teams.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
8. Experience in an international school environment is an advantage.
9. Commitment to staying current with emerging technologies and their applications in educational settings.
10. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
11. Strong commitment to child safeguarding, service learning, and environmental stewardship.
