Role: Head of Primary

As the Head of Primary, you will play a key leadership role in shaping the academic and personal development of primary students. This role requires a strategic and hands-on leader who is passionate about curriculum development, student engagement, and teacher mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Primary School faculty in implementing an engaging and rigorous British curriculum
• Develop and oversee high-quality teaching and learning strategies to ensure academic excellence
• Foster a positive school culture that promotes student well-being, creativity, and holistic development
• Work closely with teachers to provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities
• Collaborate with parents and the school community to enhance student learning experiences
• Use data-driven insights to track student progress and make informed decisions for curriculum improvements
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students
• Promote innovation and the use of technology in education to enhance learning outcomes
• Maintain high standards of behavior, discipline, and academic achievement

Qualifications & Experience:

To be eligible for this leadership position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Primary Education, or a related field
• PGCE, B.Ed., or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum of five years of leadership experience in primary education
• Proven track record in curriculum development and school improvement
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working in a British curriculum school (preferred)
• Confidence in using ICT and digital tools for administration and teaching
• Commitment to student welfare, safeguarding, and professional ethics (Enhanced DBS or equivalent required)
• Previous experience in a high-performing international school is an advantage
