Spectrum International School in Astana, Kazakhstan, is seeking a dedicated and visionary Head of Primary to lead our dynamic and inclusive primary education team. Position Overview:

As the Head of Primary, you will oversee all aspects of our Primary School, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education aligned with the Cambridge International Curriculum. Your leadership will shape the teaching, learning, and well-being of our students, creating a nurturing and inspiring environment. You will collaborate with staff, parents, and the broader school community to support the school’s vision, values, and mission.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management

• Lead the primary school with a clear vision, ensuring effective operations, continual improvement, and alignment with the school’s mission and values.

Curriculum and Pedagogy

• Oversee the design and delivery of an innovative and inclusive curriculum that meets international standards and supports high-quality learning and teaching.

Student Progress and Well-being

• Monitor student achievement and well-being, implementing strategies to ensure all students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Parent and Community Engagement

• Foster strong relationships with parents and the community, promoting collaboration and engagement to enhance the educational experience.

Operational and Administrative Oversight

• Manage the daily operations of the primary school, ensuring efficient use of resources and compliance with regulatory standards.

Professional Development and Collaboration

• Lead the professional growth of staff, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration across the school.

Requirements:

• A minimum of five years of leadership experience in a primary education setting.
• Proven expertise in delivering and leading in an International setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• A Master’s degree (preferred) or equivalent qualifications in Education or a related field.
• Native Level English Speaker
