• Lower Phase (Reception to Year 2)

Position: Head Teacher (Lower Phase)

As the Head Teacher for the Lower Phase, you will play a key role in shaping early education standards and ensuring the highest quality of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and ensure continuous improvement in the Lower Phase curriculum.
• Lead a team of dedicated teachers, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Work closely with the Principal and Head Teachers from other phases to align educational goals and school-wide priorities.
• Drive curriculum development, ensuring an engaging, well-structured EYFS and Key Stage 1 program.
• Oversee student progress tracking, assessment strategies, and performance improvements.
• Implement best practices in teaching, learning, and pastoral care to enhance student success.
• Ensure compliance with UK and international educational standards, including safeguarding policies.
• Engage with parents, staff, and students, building a strong school community.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent internationally recognized qualification.
• Minimum 2-3 years of senior leadership experience in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and primary education best practices.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teaching staff.
• Expertise in curriculum planning, assessment, and student progress tracking.
• Strong data analysis skills to drive educational improvements.
• Commitment to professional development and staying updated with international education trends.
• Understanding of UK and international education policies, including safeguarding requirements.
• Integrity, resilience, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Desirable Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of senior leadership experience in an international education setting.
• Additional leadership qualifications such as NPQSL, NPQH, NPQEL, or a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership.
