This school is based in Istanbul, Turkey and is looking for a Middle School Principal.

Çevre Koleji is seeking a dynamic and experienced Middle School Principal to lead our middle school division. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader dedicated to fostering an environment of academic excellence, personal growth, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Vision: Develop and implement a clear vision for the middle school that aligns with the overall mission and values of Çevre Koleji. Inspire and motivate faculty, staff, and students to achieve high standards.
  • Academic Excellence: Oversee the development and implementation of a rigorous and engaging curriculum. Ensure that teaching practices and educational programs meet national and international standards.
  • Faculty Development: Recruit, hire, and retain high-quality teachers and support staff. Provide ongoing professional development and support to ensure effective teaching practices and continuous improvement.
  • Student Support: Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Address the academic, social, and emotional needs of students through effective programs and interventions.
  • Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community. Promote active participation and collaboration to support student learning and school initiatives.
  • Operational Management: Manage the daily operations of the middle school, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use data and assessment results to inform instructional practices, identify areas for improvement, and track student progress.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with all stakeholders, including students, parents, teachers, and the school administration. Provide regular updates on school activities, achievements, and initiatives.
  • Innovation: Encourage and implement innovative teaching practices and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement.

 

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably at the middle school level.
  • Proven track record of improving student achievement and fostering a positive school culture.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English; proficiency in Turkish is an advantage.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, staff, and the community.
  • Experience with curriculum development, teacher evaluation, and professional development.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning.
