This school is based in Istanbul, Turkey and is looking for a Middle School Vice Principal.

Çevre Koleji is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Middle School Vice Principal to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will assist the Principal in providing visionary leadership and managing the daily operations of our middle school division, ensuring an optimal learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support Leadership: Assist the Principal in implementing the school’s vision and mission. Support the development and execution of strategic plans to enhance the educational experience.
  • Academic Oversight: Collaborate with the Principal and faculty to ensure a rigorous and effective curriculum. Monitor and support teaching practices to meet academic standards.
  • Faculty Support: Assist in recruiting, mentoring, and evaluating teachers and staff. Facilitate professional development and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Student Welfare: Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students. Address student behavioral issues and implement interventions to support their academic and social development.
  • Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community. Encourage parent involvement in school activities and programs.
  • Administrative Duties: Oversee daily school operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance with school policies and regulations. Manage school events and activities.
  • Data Management: Use data to monitor student progress and inform instructional practices. Assist in the development of data-driven strategies to improve student outcomes.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with students, parents, teachers, and the school administration. Provide regular updates and reports on school activities and initiatives.
  • Innovation: Encourage the use of innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning and engagement.

 

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in educational leadership, preferably at the middle school level.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English; proficiency in Turkish is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience with curriculum development, teacher evaluation, and professional development.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
