This school is based in Istanbul, Turkey and is looking for a Primary School Principal.

Çevre Koleji is seeking an experienced and dynamic Primary School Principal to lead and manage our primary school division. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for education, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role involves overseeing the academic, administrative, and operational aspects of the primary school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide visionary leadership and management to the primary school, ensuring the achievement of educational goals and objectives.
  • Curriculum Oversight: Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive and engaging primary school curriculum that meets educational standards and promotes student achievement.
  • Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and evaluate primary school staff. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, encouraging professional growth and development.
  • Student Achievement: Monitor and evaluate student progress and achievement. Implement strategies to support student learning and address individual needs.
  • School Culture: Promote a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity, encourages respect, and fosters a love for learning.
  • Parent and Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents and the wider community. Communicate effectively with parents about school programs, student progress, and upcoming events.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the primary school, including budgeting, resource allocation, and facility management.
  • Policy Implementation: Ensure the implementation of school policies and procedures. Maintain compliance with local and national education regulations.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the quality of education and drive continuous improvement within the primary school.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with educational trends and best practices. Lead professional development initiatives for staff to ensure high-quality instruction.


Qualifications and Skills:
  • Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
  • Administrative certification or qualification in educational leadership.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of primary school curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of educators.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Turkish is an advantage.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
