This school is based in Istanbul, Turkey and is looking for a Primary School Vice Principal.

Çevre Koleji is seeking an experienced and dynamic Primary School Vice Principal to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Principal, overseeing daily school operations, and promoting a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Assist the Principal in the overall administration of the school, including the development and implementation of school policies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Curriculum Oversight: Support the planning, development, and evaluation of the school’s curriculum. Ensure the curriculum meets educational standards and supports student achievement.
  • Staff Supervision: Provide guidance and support to teaching and support staff. Conduct performance evaluations and assist in professional development planning.
  • Student Discipline: Oversee student behavior management and disciplinary procedures. Foster a safe and respectful school environment.
  • Parental Engagement: Maintain open and effective communication with parents. Address concerns and foster positive relationships between the school and the parent community.
  • Operational Management: Assist in managing the daily operations of the school, including scheduling, resource allocation, and facility management.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze student performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Use data to inform decision-making and instructional practices.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Support and promote extracurricular programs and school events. Encourage student participation in activities that enhance their educational experience.
  • School Improvement: Collaborate with the Principal and staff to develop and implement school improvement plans. Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure the school complies with all relevant educational regulations and standards.

 

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Valid teaching certification and administrative credential.
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of primary education curriculum and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Turkish is an advantage.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
