This school is based in Dubai, UAE and is looking for a Head of Marketing.

Position Overview: The Arbor School is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Marketing to join our innovative educational institution. As the Head of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with our mission of delivering a unique educational experience rooted in sustainability and holistic growth. You will lead a team in crafting compelling narratives that showcase the transformative impact of an Arbor education, engaging prospective families and stakeholders locally and globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with Arbor School’s mission and values.
  • Lead the marketing team in creating compelling content, including stories, videos, and social media campaigns, that highlight Arbor’s unique educational approach.
  • Oversee the management of Arbor School’s brand identity and ensure consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Collaborate closely with admissions, communications, and academic teams to effectively promote Arbor’s educational offerings and achievements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the education sector.
  • Monitor and optimize digital marketing efforts, including website content, SEO, SEM, and social media platforms.
  • Plan and execute marketing events, workshops, and information sessions to engage with prospective families and the community.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain relationships with media partners, agencies, and educational influencers to enhance Arbor’s visibility and reputation.
  • Prepare and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and ROI.
  • Report directly to the Principal, providing regular updates on marketing initiatives, outcomes, and future plans.

 

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum seven years of progressive leadership experience in marketing and communications, preferably within the education sector or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) or similar design software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team, inspire creativity, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Passion for sustainability, education, and promoting holistic growth in students.
