Role Overview

The High School Business Studies Teacher will deliver engaging instruction in subjects such as economics, entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance. The teacher will create lessons that encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application. Beyond academics, this role involves mentoring students, supporting extracurricular programs, and contributing to the overall mission of Morrison Academy.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach business-related courses at the high school level
• Design dynamic and interactive lessons that build student understanding of global business practices
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Integrate biblical principles into classroom discussions and learning outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and interdisciplinary projects
• Engage in extracurricular activities, student clubs, or leadership initiatives
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a strong learning community

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• At least three years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in an international or Christian school
• Strong understanding of business education and international curricula
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Commitment to professional development and innovative teaching practices
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Passion for teaching in a diverse international Christian school setting
