Position: High School Counselor
The High School Counselor will play a vital role in helping students navigate academic challenges, career planning, and personal development. Responsibilities include:
- Providing academic, career, and personal counseling to high school students.
- Assisting students with course selection, college applications, and career readiness.
- Developing and implementing guidance programs to address students’ emotional and social needs.
- Offering one-on-one and group counseling sessions to support students’ mental well-being.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to create student success strategies.
- Promoting a positive school culture that encourages student engagement and resilience.
- Identifying and addressing students’ unique challenges, providing resources and referrals as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- A valid counseling license or certification.
- Proven experience working as a school counselor.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
