Position Overview: High School English Teacher
As a High School English Teacher at BBS, you will:
- Teach English Language & Literature to high school students.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.
- Foster a passion for reading, writing, and literary analysis in students.
- Incorporate technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Assess student progress using a variety of evaluation methods.
- Encourage students to express ideas confidently through writing and discussion.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to develop cross-disciplinary learning opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates must:
- Hold a B.S. or B.A. in English Language & Literature or a related field.
- Be certified to teach high school English.
- Have 2+ years of experience teaching high school English or English Literature.
- Be fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Have experience integrating technology into classroom instruction.
