Role Overview
The High School English Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that challenge students to analyze texts, improve writing proficiency, and think critically about language and communication. The teacher will also guide students in developing effective study habits, strong research skills, and an appreciation for both classic and contemporary literature.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English courses at the high school level following U.S. curriculum standards
- Design creative lessons that build strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Support students in preparing for advanced studies and college readiness
- Assess and monitor student progress with constructive feedback
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, clubs, or school publications

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of high school teaching experience

- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
