Role Overview
The High School English Teacher will design and deliver engaging English lessons that promote critical reading, strong writing skills, and effective oral communication. The teacher will play a key role in preparing students for higher education while also encouraging creativity, confidence, and appreciation for literature and language.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English to high school students using engaging, student-centered methods
- Develop lesson plans that integrate literature, writing, and communication skills
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Provide timely and constructive feedback on student progress
- Support extracurricular programs such as debate clubs, drama, or writing workshops
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning opportunities

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least three years of teaching experience, preferably in international schools
- Strong knowledge of English literature and language instruction
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, international community
