Role: Middle School and High School English Teacher

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Teaching Middle School and High School students in English, focusing on reading comprehension, writing skills, and literary analysis.
• Developing engaging lesson plans that cater to students’ individual learning needs.
• Assisting students in improving their language proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
• Evaluating and grading assignments, projects, and exams.
• Supporting students in preparing for college entrance exams and other academic assessments.
• Promoting critical thinking and a love for literature.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Education or a related discipline is preferred.
• Relevant teaching certification or license may be required.
• A strong interest in literature and language.
• Previous experience as an English teacher, ideally with Middle and High School students.
• Familiarity with a variety of teaching methods and classroom management strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a high-stress environment and maintain composure.
• A passion for helping students grow academically and personally.
