Role Overview: High School ICT Teacher
As a High School ICT Teacher, you will develop and deliver engaging lessons in digital technology, computer science, and coding. You will help students build foundational skills and explore advanced topics like programming, cybersecurity, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach ICT courses aligned with U.S. educational standards
- Create interactive lessons that promote critical thinking and problem-solving
- Guide students in practical applications of technology through projects and assessments
- Integrate educational technology tools to enhance instruction
- Maintain regular communication with students and parents
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary units
- Contribute to extracurricular tech-related activities or clubs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or U.S. state license)
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with U.S. or international school curricula
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- High proficiency in English
- Ability to foster a tech-positive and inclusive classroom
