Role Overview: High School Math Teacher
We are looking for a qualified mathematics teacher with experience delivering high school math courses, preferably within an international curriculum such as the IB, AP, or A-Level. The ideal candidate will engage students with real-world problem-solving, promote analytical thinking, and contribute to curriculum innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach a full range of high school math subjects (e.g., Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, or IB Mathematics)
- Design engaging lessons that align with IB or comparable international standards
- Use varied assessment tools to track student learning and provide feedback
- Integrate educational technology into classroom instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and instruction
- Foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in school events, professional learning, and community activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related discipline
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent international license)
- Minimum of two years’ experience teaching high school math
- Experience with IB or other international education systems
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Enthusiastic about working in a bilingual and multicultural environment
- Demonstrated ability to use digital tools to enhance student learning
- Commitment to professional development and collaborative practice
