Position Overview: High School Math Teacher

As a High School Math Teacher at BBS, you will:

• Teach Algebra I & II to students in Grades 9 and 10, following the Common Core curriculum.
• Create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Incorporate technology to enhance learning and problem-solving skills.
• Develop assessments to track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Foster critical thinking and analytical reasoning in students.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
• Encourage a growth mindset by helping students develop confidence in their mathematical abilities.

Qualifications & Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must:

• Hold a B.S. or B.A. in Mathematics or a related field.
• Be certified to teach high school math.
• Have 4+ years of experience teaching Algebra I & II to high school students.
• Be familiar with the Common Core curriculum.
• Be fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Have experience integrating technology into classroom instruction.
