Role Overview: High School Math Teacher
As a High School Math Teacher, you will deliver engaging, standards-based lessons across various mathematics disciplines, including Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus. You will support students in building strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills. Your role will involve active participation in curriculum planning, student assessment, and extracurricular involvement. A commitment to differentiated instruction and technology integration is essential.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or Education
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in secondary or high school math
- Strong understanding of the American curriculum or international equivalent
- Effective classroom management and communication skills
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and educational best practices
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
- Competence in using educational technology to enhance learning
