Role Overview: IB/A-Level Mathematics Teacher
The IB/A-Level Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction aligned with international curricula such as the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme or Cambridge A-Level. This role requires strong subject knowledge, a growth mindset, and the ability to engage students in meaningful and challenging lessons.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to high school students using best practices in international education
- Design and deliver lesson plans aligned with IB, A-Level, or other relevant curricula
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning
- Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning
- Contribute to school events, clubs, and extracurricular programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school setting
- Familiarity with IB DP, A-Level, or similar international math curricula
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
