Role Overview
As an IB DP Economics Teacher, you will guide students in developing a deep understanding of economic concepts, global markets, and real-world financial issues. The role requires delivering engaging lessons, preparing students for the IB Diploma Programme assessments, and fostering critical thinking skills that extend beyond the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IB DP Economics in alignment with IB standards and practices
- Design creative, student-centered lessons that encourage inquiry and debate
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback for growth
- Support students in developing strong research and analytical skills
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the Economics curriculum

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably with IB or international curricula
- Strong knowledge of IB DP Economics content and pedagogy
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and multicultural learning environment
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to innovate, self-motivate, and contribute to curriculum development
