Role Overview
The IB DP ICT Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that integrate technology, innovation, and real-world applications. The teacher will encourage students to explore computing concepts, problem-solving strategies, and digital tools while preparing them for success in the IB Diploma Programme and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality ICT lessons aligned with the IB DP curriculum.
- Develop students’ computational thinking, coding, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrate new technologies to enhance digital learning experiences.
- Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design and cross-disciplinary projects.
- Inspire students to become confident digital citizens ready for global challenges.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of ICT teaching experience, ideally in an international school.
- Strong knowledge of IB DP ICT curriculum and inquiry-based methodologies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in integrating educational technologies.
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse international school community.
