Role Overview: IB DP Mathematics Teacher
As an IB DP Mathematics Teacher, you will teach mathematics courses within the IB Diploma Programme. You will support students as they prepare for university studies around the world, fostering analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a genuine appreciation for mathematics.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, student-centered lessons aligned with IB DP Mathematics standards
- Design effective assessments and provide meaningful feedback
- Guide students in internal assessments and exam preparation
- Collaborate with faculty on curriculum development and interdisciplinary learning
- Participate actively in school events, advisory roles, and professional learning communities
- Maintain open communication with students and parents
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or Mathematics Education
- Valid teaching license or qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
- At least two years of teaching experience, ideally within the IB Diploma Programme
- Deep understanding of IB Mathematics curriculum (Applications & Interpretation or Analysis & Approaches)
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- High level of proficiency in spoken and written English
- Willingness to contribute to school initiatives and extracurricular programs
- Comfort with technology integration in teaching and learning
