Role: IB English Teacher

As an IB English Teacher, you will teach English to students in Secondary School, including IGCSE and IB Diploma levels. You will plan engaging, inquiry-driven lessons aligned with IB and Cambridge standards. You will support students in developing critical reading, writing, and analytical skills while fostering creativity and independent thought. Collaboration with colleagues, active communication with parents, and participation in school events and curriculum development are also key aspects of this role.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of experience teaching English at IGCSE and IB Diploma levels
• In-depth understanding of the IB curriculum and assessment practices
• Proven ability to motivate and inspire students in a multicultural setting
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Commitment to professional development and innovative teaching practices
• Confident in using educational technology to enhance learning
• Collaborative and proactive team member
