Role Overview: IB English Teacher

As an IB English Teacher at VFIS, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with IBDP standards. You will support students in developing analytical reading, academic writing, and effective communication skills. Your responsibilities will include contributing to interdisciplinary projects, mentoring students, and participating in school-wide learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching experience
• Deep understanding of the IB curriculum and assessment practices
• Excellent English language proficiency (spoken and written)
• Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning
• Self-driven and collaborative with a passion for innovation in education
• Ability to engage diverse learners and foster a positive learning environment
