About Canadian International School Kunshan
Founded in 2012, CISK began by offering the Ontario (Canada) curriculum and has since grown into a fully authorized IB Continuum School. CISK delivers the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP) to students aged 3 to 18. The school supports a diverse student body of 24 nationalities and is located in the vibrant city of Kunshan, China.

Role Overview: IB MYP Arts & Design Teacher
As an IB MYP Arts & Design Teacher, you will lead students through engaging, interdisciplinary projects that combine visual arts, digital media, and design thinking. You will cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and cultural awareness while fostering individual expression.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver MYP-aligned lessons in Arts and Design
- Guide students through the design cycle and project-based learning
- Promote inquiry, innovation, and collaboration in the classroom
- Assess student progress using both formative and summative methods
- Integrate digital tools and technology into lessons effectively
- Participate in school-wide events, exhibitions, and curriculum planning
- Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to support student growth
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Design, Education, or related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, ideally within the IB MYP framework
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
- Ability to collaborate within a multicultural teaching team
- Passion for creativity, innovation, and student-centered learning
- Willingness to contribute to professional development and school improvement initiatives
