Role Overview
The IB MYP Arts & Design Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that foster creativity, problem-solving, and design thinking. The teacher will guide students in exploring both visual and digital arts while encouraging innovation, collaboration, and reflection.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Arts & Design lessons aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework.
- Develop students’ creative and technical skills through practical and theoretical projects.
- Integrate technology and innovation into teaching practices.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design and student outcomes.
- Support co-curricular arts and design initiatives within the wider school community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Arts, Design, or Education.
- Valid teaching license or certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, ideally in an international school setting.
- Strong knowledge of IB MYP Arts & Design curriculum.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in integrating new technologies into learning.
- Commitment to professional growth and collaborative teaching.
- Enthusiasm for working in a multicultural environment.
