Role Overview

The IB MYP/DP ICT Teacher will lead engaging technology-focused lessons aligned with the International Baccalaureate curriculum. The teacher will guide students in developing essential skills in information and communication technology, digital literacy, and computational thinking. The role also involves contributing to curriculum design, integrating ICT into interdisciplinary projects, and inspiring students to explore technology as a tool for innovation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet IB MYP and DP ICT requirements.
• Support students in mastering digital tools, coding, and problem-solving strategies.
• Use inquiry-based methods to promote independent learning and innovation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate ICT into cross-disciplinary projects.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback for academic growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in ICT, Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, ideally in IB MYP/DP ICT.
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for technology and education.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
• Proficiency in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and innovative teaching practices.
