Role Overview
As an IB MYP/DP Math Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). You will help students build mathematical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking while fostering a love of learning in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics within the IB MYP and DP curriculum framework
- Design inquiry-based lessons that encourage critical and creative thinking
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Integrate technology into lessons to enhance student engagement and achievement
- Assess and monitor student progress with clear, constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum design and interdisciplinary projects
- Maintain strong communication with parents, staff, and the wider school community
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Valid teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably in IB MYP/DP Mathematics
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and international curricula
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Enthusiasm for teaching in a diverse international environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and innovation in teaching
