Role Overview
The IB MYP Mathematics Teacher will deliver engaging and inquiry-based math lessons aligned with the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP). You will guide students in developing strong numeracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills while creating a supportive and collaborative classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach IB MYP Mathematics to middle and high school students
- Develop engaging lesson plans aligned with IB standards
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Integrate technology to enhance math instruction
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
- Support students in preparing for IB assessments and beyond
- Contribute to co-curricular activities and school-wide initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field
- Valid teaching license or certification (e.g., QTS, PGCE, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, ideally in an IB environment
- Strong knowledge of international curricula and mathematics education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration
- High proficiency in spoken and written English
- Ability to thrive in a diverse international school community
